An old lady in the streets of Vietnam once told me "Why you no laugh?"
It's a busy world out there and we are too occupied to laugh like a kid.
Studded with numerous jokes and limericks, on one hand, this book is targeted at tickling your funny bone, while on the other it talks about the subtle psychological nuances of humour to tweak your curious side.
While you keep giggling throughout, you will learn about your Left Brain-Right Brain coordination in detecting humour, differences between the sexes when it comes to humour and the search for the Best joke in the world!
It also encompasses the infinite benefits of laughter in a Professional environment as taken from the words of the Master of an Ocean Liner, and the biggest myths behind today's No laugh work-environments.
All this is packed into a pleasant short-read guaranteed to make sense of a lazy afternoon at a price less than that cup of coffee!

The author is an exhorter. Sprinkling his points with jokes and funny illustrations, he gives in-depth explanations of the benefits and workings of humor, laughter and even gratitude as it pertains to the body and the soul of a man from a psychological standpoint. Ancient wisdom says that, too, but we are told in the book of Proverbs that it is also good for us from a spiritual standpoint. "A merry heart does good like a medicine but a broken spirit dries the bones" and "he that is of a merry heart has a continual feast." In these scriptures "heart" refers to the spirit of a man. That being said, I believe and must agree that laughter, humor, thankfulness and a general feeling of well-being is good for all three parts of a human - his spirit, his soul and his body. I enjoyed reading this book and like the way the writer is so eager to show us not to neglect these important elements in our everyday lives, regardless and sometimes even in spite of our circumstances.Product details

Laughter Paradigm Having Fun the Psychology behind Why you no laugh??? edition by Captain D Humor Entertainment eBooks Reviews
A light-humoured read with plenty of insightful thoughts on life, happiness, personal growth, and having a positive outlook.
Yes, the book has its flaws, but if you can look past these and read with an open mind, you'll certainly find some gems of knowledge that will stick with you after you finish reading. You'll definitely have lots of laughs along the way!
Captain D is a Boss. That means he should not laugh and joke in front of his employees right?
This myth and many others are dispelled in this light-hearted analysis of laughter.
Punctuated with jokes old and new, this book goes into some detail about the dark art of humour. Explaining how jokes need to match their audience and yet not offend a friend.
This is a quick read, that will make you laugh and give you a better understanding of the mechanics of laughter.
It's well worth the money - So buy it!

I seriously don't understand the five star reviews. Bad, bad book.
The idea to laugh through life is great, but the book is poorly written. The subjects are not well developed. Not developed at all. It was so hard to finish, even though it is a short book with huge letters.
This book is an enlightening and funny read. The author points out how laughter can affect our lives in several positive ways. I enjoyed the read and would recommend this to anyone who needs more laughter in their lives.
This is a funny book with common sense ideas about incorporating more laughter into your life. The jokes were pretty funny, and the lists were good, too (although for me, the TV shows "Gilmore Girls", "Seinfeld," and "The Goldbergs" make me laugh more than "Friends.)" (That's just my humble opinion. And I have some friends who crack me up.
"It's an easy, fun, read that will leave you smiling." You can't say that about too many books today. This one is definitely one of those. But it's more than that. It's also a source of some pretty good life advice; the kind that kinda sneaks up on you. You know, you think you're reading one thing but suddenly you realize you just learned something else. Subtle. But nice. Take this one for a ride. You won't regret it. In fact, you'll be smiling about it!
